I am in this situation where rules has been altered to suit the managers and rules that make his subordinates playing near impossible winning game.
Talked to my junior and found out that she freak out when she make minor mistakes, she has to fork out own cash to give treat to that bast&*@#* a treat for her mistake.

You can always read them a passage from the bible when they are having lunch.
Lunchtime is not considered working hours and you cannot be fired during lunchtime.
Be it disturbing to them or irritate them, lunchtime is your only window of opportunity to bless your managers to turn over a new leaf.
from my experience the industries likely to have such foul mouth dirty words swearing mangers falls in the precision stamping and construction industries. they are usually very low educated rich man wannabe who don;t know the basic EQ to hold their mouth in front of their workers.
It doesn't hv to be foul-mouth or such. I think the issue is these ppl use their rank to force the lower staff to do things against their will or things they dun like.
My previous Co. also like that, just that i got pink slip along wif my former bastard manager who play "games" wif us to do meaningless things which may cost us our jobs. I play along his games & whistle-blow him once spotted an opening against him.

Lunch is out as my manager see us like we are transparent human.
And even dont want to have eye contact with us, as if we are the thorn in his flesh.
Pity my female junior is very stressful everyday...fear of making error. I could do nothing much as I myself was asked to owe that fucker a treat for doing something so so so minor mistake that not even a CSO (chief security officer) would want to blink an eye on it.
better than last time i got one more senior colleague he alwasy like to wait for free lunch then can bring you go out lunch and eat on company's account sian 1. then always most go fr company gathering siao as if working time see the kock face not enough after office hours still must see their kock faces kenasai!

...the higher a manager climb to the top....the lower a manager eq leadership...and becoming a beast without any feeling towards the subordinates.

i have some proposals for you
1. avoid that manager as far as possible. minimize all possible eye contacts and communication.
2. implement a method on how to avoid future mistake
3. encourage your junior, counter-check her work once more before submitting, calm her, say, buy her some rose tea/ camomile tea
4. send that manager's resume to the headhunters; and pray that the manager will be headhunted, and you can say bye bye to that manager very soon.
Oftentimes, bosses find fault and scold their subordinates pinning the blame on them to make themselves look and feel better. But they know deep inside that it's all very superficial. Just be humble and take the verbal thrashing. Offer no resistance t all: one ear in, another ear out.........and you'll be all right.
This happens everywhere you go. As long as you are working just as a mere employee, you'll have to face this sort of thing. The most you can do is resign and find yourself another place to work. But you'll never escape from this. A different work place may have this in a different shade but it's all the same............
I always believe that what goes around comes around. These nasty bosses will just get their just desserts one fine day...........
Just keep your focus on what you are working for and everything else is secondary.
Work is work. End of the day, its nothing personal, its just business. Always draw the line between colleagues and friends. Colleagues will always be colleagues, never friends.

lat time i got one bosses i tell him hey my subordinates got attitude problem and he never do anything to solve the ptorblm. unlike another boss or rather all my previous bosses who will sit down and resolve the interpersonal issues. after a while it will not be too difficult to see this boss' level where he stands. then the worse is he swauku one tell me if i handle one of the cutomer (i.e Intel) products i can learn many things. i first time hear the comments i chiokaopeng already. to them company Intel's the main customer but i see is really WTF? So swauku!

Yes, agreed with point 1, no eye contact, detour if manager walks towards you. Less contact, less conflicit.

Sometimes, wonder why colleagues are hoping someone to make mistakes and they just sit back and watch the show.
Also,collagues try to push you down the cliff if you get unware. Must be alert at all times in the office.

Having meeting with manager also headaches.
My junior and everybody sit around with the manager.
Throw out all the problems we are facing.
