If I can only do 6 month temp, can I still look for full time job?
Does most full time job require 1 year contract?
Can I hide the fact I am going to further study, then just tender resignation after 6 month?
Can like that? I see some fulltimer never really do 1 year, if I quit b4 1 year what will happen? will it affect the my future prospect?
or shld I just continue doing part time?
please advise...
Part time or full time?
Full-time job doesn't mean 1 year contract.
Ask us no use, go out and ask the boss and tell them you can only work 6 months.
Whether you get the job depends on them.
Also, don't be a bastard and lie, nobody likes that.
Singapore is a very small country. Try lying in your previous job and your current job might be affected
Ya just say look for a full time job. There are far too many job hoppers in this world who quit after just a few months
Full time is better than part time right?
Or contact is better than part time right?
Take up full time and study night class.
Don't waste time doing full time job if you have intention to quit.
Within the short 6 months to learn a skill and earn money at the same time.
Can you think of a job that does that? Don't think of sales/promoter/credit card seller type of bull job which foreigners can easily replace you.
Still can't think of any?
For a start, get a car license. Have already? Get a forklift or truck license. Don't want?
Think then.
Drive taxi liao.
If you're heading into the private sector here's a tip: Just bloody lie and tell em you're available long term.
Why? Because that's how it really is. People come in, saying they got no other commitments and after a few months, they 'cabut' citing commitments issue. Standard protocol~
Don't tell if they don't need to know is the mantra~
I think many pple are practising this.
Tell the employer no comittment for the next 1 yr. Anyway, who cares? Employers dont care, why I care?
