Those hourly part timer job in shopping mall, how much do they earn per hour?
what job or shop is recommended?
Miserable $5 or so. Don't expect good money for this. Singapore is a country great and expert in exploiting staff, thanks to the ruling party.
If you asking for Mac rate in shopping mall, it is just the same as other branches. Extremely low rate of $3.50. In US, Mac is paying US$10.00 per hour.
what abt shop like hangten, challenger , Bossini, swensen?

I don't know. You may want to ask them when they have vacancies available or go surf their HR website.

If you are working on this job to buy some stuff for yourself and you don't spend much, no bills, financial and family commitment, miserably you still can survive but don't expect you can save much or save at all.
so u thinking it's too low?
I dun expect toe arn much
I just dun wnat to be underpaid, by the end of the day
I hope $6.5 is gd for PT in retail sale

For part-time $6.50 an hour is the same as full-time $6.50. Still higher than $3.50 paid by Mac. Anyway, this is not to comparing which companies paying the lowest and be happy about it. hahah
mac is F&B fastfood, cannot compare, it is not retail sale
$6.50 can do or nt? for ORD personnel?
or shld I change job?
McD pays $3.50 per hour?? That's freaking exploitation. Govt shd do something abt it.
if you're working part-time, treat the job as something that lightens your financial load as well as an experience. Please don't view it as a career.
How about looking for factory jobs (part time)? I am sure they pay more...

Long long ago, they paid only $2.50 per hour, so $3.50 is pretty good, and also the fact the perks are not factored in.
I am working in a huge MnC, they pay their temp admin staff $4.50 per hour, work a min of 3 days per week.

You cannot compare like that. So what if US mac is paying US$10 per hour? You have to factor in the cost of living. Also consider how many mac branches you can find in US per square kilometer compared to singapore. There are probably more burger king outlets in singapore than there are mac in just the state of texas.
In Oz, you work part time in a food court at lunch hour, its AUD$15 per hour. Doesn't seem to make sense already right? But once you put their GST, and the income taxes into perspective, it seems miserable.
