Shall i quit or stay(help)

I have been working in certain giant computer's company (MNC) for more than 5years and above.
Many of the senior guys over there had been bolted out (resign) or hopeless waiting for the retrenchment package. which won't be arrived for another 20 years.
Where else every 3 months the VP or upper management will send an email out telling you that the company have made a profit but not any losses.
The hope of getting a pay increment or promotion or job rotation to other post in management level. Will be hard.
(Even have your pay will still remain the same for another years plus before they revise it.)
In order for the MNC to survive a large number of foreigners is begin employ from overseas. Such as pinoy, prc and myanma.
And with the system of ranking in performance it is even more harder why do i say that?
Below are the ranking systems that it
K: Kaki and good carrying favor to upper management
N: Noticeable of existence due to your little bit of hard work in carry favorP: potentially starting to carry favor
I: idiot
In order to fulfill the pay increment or promotion
1) you must be good looking2)local paper qualification
3) senior roles (or class 4 instead of class 3)
4) the elite in k-ranking

1. Will the paycut be restored?
Answer. NO
(in upper management's head : there won't be and there will not be any.)
2. Will there be an increment?
Answer. They are focusing more on getting xxxx department to get a higher VPB. They mentioned that the 1st
half of the year was good and if the 2nd half ot the year is the same. There's a higher chance of a bigger
VPB.
(in upper management's head : in end of the year just say that company is not doing well.)
3. Contract TS are not included in the VPB even if they get K ranking.
Answer. There's a distinction between contract and perm staff. They are looking into contract to perm conversion.
(in upper management's head: there won't be and there will not be any. even perm one hard to get K what made you think you think that after converting to perm you are able to get the k ranking.)
4. Contract TS annual leave is not incremented.
Answer. Same as #3.
5. Last year, those with paycut received compensation/one time bonus. Will it be the same this year.
Answer. Not certain, depend on the US sucker. Last year's compensation/one time bonus was initiated by US sucker. -
from the above situation shall i stay or quit.
If you are in my shoes what will you do?

Career stagnation. Nothing to aim except to watch the days in the calender drift by. If you are in the management and holding a life-substainable salary, try advocating change in the company gradually implementing small changes here and there.

Yes, this is extremely important. I reckon most of the people who are working would rather choose not to work if they are able to get a passive monthly income. However, in life, not many people are able to achieve this.
Hence, it's always better to persevere.

It would depends on you actually... did you keep a look out for position opening in other firms?
Sometimes, it is better to move on then stay in a place where your work is not appreciated. But do have options and fall back plans. Cos you dun wanna get strangled in unemployed status.

You have to understand several things first.
1. Your pay and salary will not rise further if your ranking grade does not change. Because your role and job scope has not changed so why do the company want to pay you more for the same thing you do everyday. Especially when you are working for more than 5 years now. Your basic salary will be stagnated, even the company is doing well. The thing that you may benefit is the bonus that they give you.
2. You will be not promoted further if your education level does not changed. For every grading, there is this minimum education qualification. Meaning, if you want to rise up to eg: "senior engineer", you need this Bach. Degree Cert, you must have this cert. If the new grading, need Master, PhD, MBA, you must have this cert. Else you will never be promoted further.
I am sad to tell you, since you have claimed yourself to be henchmen (blue collar guys), there is no way the "other" company is going to pay you more either. In another word, they all pay the same for henchmen.
You may want to change another company, (cose it is closer to your house, doing well, or other reasons). But to go for higher pay, you must either upgrade your cert or switch job.
Do not quit your current job until you have found another.

1 )currently, been sending almost 70 plus of resume and only got 1 interview. the sad thing is that some of the resume that i send is similar to my current one. i even low my expected wage lowest them those fresh grad.
2) yes, i do keep an open eye for any inter-posting but as i mention before

4) i am like football in my new department begin kick here and there.
5) more foreign (FT) than local in my department.
6) i have an old age parent who asking me more money from me about 2/3 of my wages and keep comparing other people's son ( who have a degree ) to me. where else one of them is a cough syrup addictive and stock gambler .who have SGD$100k cash rich and with an asset of SGD$100k in stock and share in Singapore stock exchange.
