since you said that the police has called you up for CBT, what are specifically that the police has questioned and what are written in your police's statement ?
you are worried because the police will charge you for CBT and your previous employer will sue you for damages
police do not anyhow charge people with CBT, they will establish and collect concrete evidence before any charge for CBT will be made. One sided statements by the boss and your former working partners will not be considered as concrete evidence.
your previous employer can sue you for damages but this does not mean that the judge will allow it. The judge will study the evidence carefully before a judgement is made and even if the damages are allowed, the judge will decide the amount of the damages to be awarded and not any amount of damages as sought by your previous employer.

yep i didn't went back with the police for cbt as there was not enough evidence and i was allowed to go home but my ex empolyer say that he is consolidating evidence of me conducting cbt. apparently, he only plan to charge me for cbt. i am terminated from the company along with my accountant so we are not bounded by the contract and don't have to go to work anymore which is a good thing. now just waiting for police to call and get back my stuff and also waiting for the letter of court or something like that. should i seek a lawyer help now?

He talk big only about consolidating evidence of you committing cbt. Otherwise he maybe will fabricate fake evidence and he will be charged for that and its him who will go to jail not you

If you are really concerned, you would go back to your company office and find your boss for a talk, not stay home and chill out.

A reasonable person would have known from the police interrogation, the course this investigation would take and whether there is any cause for concern.
If you didn't do anything wrong, you shouldn't worry about any fabrication your boss does.
If I were you, I would make a police report about his extortion.

no need talk so much with him already want go court lets go. thanks chester since i am innoccent and thanks for sharing the insides that if he fabricate he will have to go jail haha. i did report to police about extortion but they say no evidence so they cannot procceed. my personal laptop for work, thumbdrive and file is with the police now hope they can clear my name =)

its my personal stuff to protect myself, those are my own laptop i bought for company use as they didn't provide me with any. my own thumb drive and my own file for putting rough paper for daily work. he dare to have the cheek to tell the police laptop belong to the company as he want to use those things to set me up =) when police ask them produce receipt he can't do it but i am able to haha

ditzy you don't know the situation i was in when he was threatening me him in his office. he said money can buy every thing and he also plan to harm my family. therefore i really hope to see justice done. you want to harm me fine, but it has nothing to do with my family and also he said that hiring gangsters to harrass us is only 3-4k a month. how would you feel if you were in my shoe hope you undersntad . . .

my employer has just sent out a mass email to all the clients with my photo and nirc saying that i have being terminated and am currently under investigation is that legal?

Im shocked by your boss's gangster mannerism. Looks likes hes quite boorish and not very smart. How would his clients tink of him and his company if he forward your pic and info to them saying you been terminated. It is not legal to do so and you can easily sue him for damages. He is doing that as he is taking a bet that he has more money than you and you will not be able to have to financial resources to take him to court.
Please drop me a mail with your phone number so that I can advise you on what to do as what I did to other victims. Im angered by this blatant act of gangsterism and can advise u on the course of action.

ok update on the case, my friend has just received his lawyer letter demanding him to pay 11 months pay and also the course fee which amount to $32k. I think my letter will follow suit which would be for cbt or for the same case. Is it right for him to terminate us and still ask us to pay for the remaining amount of the contract and also the course fees? Tomorrow we will be heading down to mom ask check with them on the course of action.

ok i just got my letter of demand today. It amounts to 25k for 11 months pay and course training fees. It says that i am terminated by the company and due to one of the clause of the company, it state that i will be required to pay the amount in 7 days if not i will be brought to court. for my cbt case, the police say its still pending. I have went to mom with my friend today and like what you guys said there is nothing they can do as this is a civil case and we need a lawyer. We went to mom because the company refuse to give us our contract and also our pay for the month and now instead they want us to compensate them. Tomorrow or the day after need to go source for lawyer already, any one got reccomendations?

If you get letter of demand it's just a civil case (means the company taking you to court) and not a police case.
He just using the police as a sidetrack to threaten you into submission.
You can basically ignore his letter of demand and wait for his writ of summons, thereby you have to decide on your course of action, either to get a lawyer to challenge his claim or to pay him.
You can ask him out for a discussion, record his conversation (without him knowing with a voice recorder), try to trick him into confessing his extortion (him using the case of CBT to extort money from you), then bring up the case to police again regarding his extortion.
