How long to find a job these days?

  It has been 1 month plus that I have not been able to find work. how is the market out there now? I wonder will the Greece debt affect the jobs in Singapore?

  depends what work you are looking... If any job is okay, 2-3 weeks can find le ba...

  My views: There is enough trouble in the job market due to competition without adding Greece inside the formula. I think situation in Greece is still very unstable because it's either they declare default or get bailed out. But I think they die die also need to save greece from default. Italy and Spain are the more dangerous ones.

  Hope that it's only those 5-6 countries that are under debt, not the whole of Europe. Otherwise, I need to look for a new job again.

  I think every country present nice values (like SG GDP) and just waiting for the bubble to burst. Crossing my fingers at Japan.

  Investors are already eyeing Hongkong right? Hope Singapore gets picked up and our wages increase as well.

  @Rooney9: your operation is bank teller or credit analysis/risk or trading? Why not American Express?

  really very backroom operations. Best of luck, hope Chester help you find. I will look for him after 2 years for a banking job if successful =D I heard that in banking, the best way to earn is to be a banker, or a job that involves direct contact with protential clients.

  so if you process IBG and companies send in their IBG applications to pay their staffs salary and you screw up than their staffs never get salary than how?

  you see people no up arh? debit card means immediate deduction. No marney in bank also cannnot use. credit card pay month end, can snow ball debts, until die next generation pay.
