I have been working in the Call center for 2 months(under probation). I do not like the job and I just leave without informing the company.
From my senses, they will take legal action against me!! Inside my letter of appointed it stated if I leave for 24 hrs, I have to pay the company back the admin fees for 1 month.
I am under the bankruptcy act. Will the company be able to ask me to compensate the 1 months pay to them?
I am under bankruptcy, I have no money to pay them, will the company be able to sue me to jail?
Hope all brothers and sisters can help!!! Thank!

you can try negotiating with the company, i guess. did the company provide u training ? how much is the admin fee ? (never heard of admin fee in employment contract)
what u mean by "if u leave for 24 hrs" ?
Are you a singaporean? If you are, you are a black sheep. As it is now more and more companies are not in favour of employing Singaporeans, (if you are Singaporean) your action proved to employers that it is not a wise choice to employ locals.
How old are you?

Doesnt Sg recently just set up a Insolvency Practitioners Association for Singapore (IPAS) ?
10K min right ?
Dun think the OA is going to consider his discharge and facilitate bankrupts to continue being economically active.
So if they sue me for not paying them the 1 month salary because under bankruptcy no money to pay, will I go to jail?
I actually never heard of people going to jail because of never pay up the 1 month salary to the company that is stated inside the letter of appointment.

Pray your lucky star will help you.
I dun think the co will resort to suing you for the 1 month of pay. they will send you a letter, demanding you to pay by a certain date, if not legal action will be taken. its a hassle for companies trying to claim back 1 month pay. even if the legal firm sent you, the case is not lost, as they still have to apply to the court for the action against you. you see, need to attend court hearing, so bloody waste of time and effort just to claim a 1 month pay from you. unless you own them at least 10k, dun think they willl want to waste time on just for the pathetic amount of 1 month pay.
Bankrupt already still dun wanna work...waiting for donations ah?
People like you shld be left to strave in the streets
or alternately TS can sell his backside...

Where got such thing as under bankruptcy no money to pay?
Another thing is that usually u need to declare if u are an undischarge bankrupt when applying for job. If u did not inform the company, then u are liable for charges on wilful misrepresentation.
And yes, it is common that you need to pay back an amount if you did not complete a certain time frame set by the company. One month already consider low liao.
