everytime I called DBS hotline, a phillipino agent picked up the call. is DBS call centre being outsourced to Phillipines or what?
otherwise what happened to our local Singaporean agents? no wonder Singapore unemployment rate is so high, our companies are hiring foreigners just because their wages are cheap.
so in future, our retail stores are being manned by foreigners, cause their wages are so much cheaper then our citizens?
Call many times liao, all answer by them..indian ah na.Dont even know what they talking cant even understand them.Pls lah gov do something..dont let our ear suffered.
You are speaking to the operator in the Philippines. They know their job as if they are in Singapore themselves.
Its better they answer your call, than to receive "All our operators are busy. Please wait, your call is important to us" endlessly. Actually there is no one there because of manpower problem in the Singapore call centre..
I wouldn't mind even if the operator respond promptly from Honduras or Cuba, and handles the call professionally.
Yeah, even other banks also foreigners asking you about their products....no local.

call centres outsourced to overseas mah...neber monitor English standard...end up customers call in end up more agitated than before...
I once called up Microsoft for some help....person who answered was obviously not from Singapore...most likely from China...but the English was OK(depends on person too but I was lucky)...got my problem solved...less than 10 mins....U try doing that with HP and see whether U will vomit blood or not....their English too powderful for me to understand...tried on many occasions.

most of the time the pronunciation is the problem...not the professionalism
Partially owned by government, DBS obedient to the call from government by employing these outsiders.
