I wonder who is the 1 that created the rule that jobs in the retail, security, F & B industry have to work 6 days while the rest of the office jobs only work 5 days and shorter hours too?
If office jobs work 5 days a week 9 hours a day, than retail, F & B and Security guard jobs should also work 5 days a week 9 hours a day than fair right?
Of course, jobs in retail, F & B and Security industry have to work on weekends and shifts, but shouldn't they restrict it to just 5 days a week?
Then wat?? Saturdays & Sundays everybody stay home grow spider webs and rot?? And not having any cuisine to enjoy?
I feel like an idiot for even bothering to reply.
Read carefully what I post.
I say work on weekends too but only work 5 days a week.
I feel like an idiot to even reply to u
u want to work u work...........u dont want to work then fcuk off and stay at home shake legs.............LOLZ
It would depends on the coy you work in... some work 5 days only.
Office people are generally better educated so they know if they are being exploited to work "extra" hours or not.
Retail and F&B people are different la. Majority of them don't have much education, so even if being exploited a little, they wont know de. That explains the extra day of work. Lol.

Now... that is really an insult... most management in retail and f&B line is holding higher education than you. So, shut your crap cos you ain't gonna give any insight in any of the replies that you are gonna make!

Can be done but not done so maybe is the company wants to "eat" the security guard and can be because not much people want to work as security guard so shortage of manpower so have to work 6 days

Ah that's where you are getting me wrong.
I'm not referring to people holding management and executive positions in the sales and F&B line. I'm talking about promoters, cashiers, etc. I work part time at a department store so I know what backgrounds the people there come from. Sadly to say, many of them don't even know their rights as an employee. How many hours they are entitled to work each week, their employee rights when employer holds them liable for losses made, etc.
