In Mcdonald and kfc website they post that fresh diploma holders can apply for their trainee manager position.
But last year I applied for both of them. KFC did not even reply me when I email them my resume. For mcdonald, I went to their website to apply. 1 week later a job agency call me say that they are helping mcdonald to do recruitment.
I went for the interview at the job agency and the guy was pretty satasified with me. but 2 weeks later he call me saying that mcdonald hr has informed him that I was not selected.
Anyone here experience the same situation as me when you apply for the trainee manager position?
I heard that for mcdonald trainee manager salary is 1.6k while KFC is only 1.3k and KFC trainee manager have to sign 2 year bond.

Sometimes it is also a matter of luck.
If there are too many acceptable people, they will have to pick out the outstanding ones. If there are any vacancies left, they will probably pick on a first come first serve basis.
go work at casino. they looking for 1500 dealers. starting pay reportedly is 2k.

For non grads, the casino dealing jobs look promising.
Relatively high pay with an almost fixed career path should you choose to stay on for say 10 years.
I say go for it if you don't have much paper qualifications.

last month I went for interview already but didn't get selcted.
Don't know whether this weekend I go apply again will get it anot
And is not fair too lor. Pri sch graduate and university graduate also get 2k
define fair?
If a pri sch grad can deal better then a uni grad, does the pri sch grad deserves a higher or equal pay then the uni grad?
Or should we just look at the paper qualifications? and thus the uni grad should, in whichever circumstances, receive a higher pay then the pri sch grad?
Sometimes, it the skills that make a job a profession, not the acadamic qualifications?
Just my 2cents worth.
totally agreed.
It's not the paper qualifications (unless u wanna be academic lecturer). But having said that, paper qualifications helps u open doors, where someone without will have no access. However end of the day, it's the skills that counts.
There were 2 scholars and 3 normal undergrads in my company for intership recently. One of the scholars received very bad feedback from his boss. Most staff in direct dealings with them will pick the normals over the scholars.
Btw, one of the scholars drives to work everyday in an audi coupe... which had nothing to do with this topic.
Wah finally got job no need High High qualification

is 1.8k.
acc to straits time.
1.8 is relatively low if sands want to recruit dealers, world resorts will provide nice competition. i do think higher education qualifications will give higher base pay...i read last month a grad claimed to get near 3k offer.

I hope these was not the kind of response that you gave your interviewers, because I wont be surprised that you would remain jobless.

some scholars don't have very good EQ, understandable that not all will be well-liked
but sometimes got to admit that when it comes to work, these scholars do see things and come up with solutions which others can't. somehow the brilliant people are also the weirder people

I only give these type of response to dumb people in sgforum and you asked me this question shows you also fall into this category

I believe that I did not ask any question at all.
Cheers and all the best.

so far you're the first i heard that wasn't selected, did you asked why weren't you selected? how many pts you got for that maths test?
i'll still try if i were you, the reason you should give is that you really wish that path to be your career and you would like to have a second try. i can tell you what i told them during the interview if you're shortlisted again
