Consultant Salaries?

  I'm curious about the pay for management consultants.. I know someone who claims to have only a salary of 2500SGD per month and working at BDO. Any truth to this? Thanks.

  entry level consultants is a standard $ range of a 1st degree basic salary. (not inclusive of commission)

   

  even financial planner is called a consultant (insurance agent)

  What would someone who wants to works at KPMG with an advanced degree (PhD - that's me :) ) have as a salary?

  "consultant" is bery much abused these days
  
  i see young punks who are fresh grads with "xxx consultant" printed on the biz cards
