the consultants jobs are basically sales job. they have weekly and monthly targets to hit. its also lots of emailing, calling, interviewing and liasing job with the candidates and employers basically.
many years ago someone in the industry told me he received about 100 resumes a day. he said he dun have the time to reply all, only call and reply those that fit the employer job description, as time is essence.
the best agency that was good to me was manpower (banking division).
all he did was call me and tell me about the job and asked me a few questions about myself.
he said he will send my resume to the employer and later he called me to go to the bank for interview. no need to go to manpower for registration. after the first interview, he called me again to say there is a second interview. I went and after I left, he called me to say I was selected, pay how much and ask me to go to the bank to start work.
once i started work, he asked someone in the bank to ask me fill up manpower application form.

1 thing i dont like about them is they super KC to ask candidates to visit their office to sign their t&c....if never go and meet them first, they don't try to apply that job position for u [X_X]..which I do not encounter with other agencies so far...
Any feedbacks on WMS? Heard from my cousin who was doing temp customer service so can't answer her calls a few times....then when she returned call much later, the agent was quite fierce... Personally, i don't have experience applying jobs through them so can't say much about their effiencies..
what is WMS?
