Recently I found a job position which is singtel mio TV promoter on straits times. I took up the position as nowadays jobs are hard to come by but now I wonder whether can this mio packages sell? (Each package is at $19.90)
This job is mainly commission based and the basic covers transport only. It's a door to door type of promoter so will people buy during this bad times.
You kena scammed liao, tip for finding job
1) Never find commission-based
2) Never find door-to-door/cold calls/random walkups unless it's with basic pay.
I shun such promoters like they carry some kind of infectious diesease.
itis like trying to sell broken shoes like they are nike...
its okay.. but u have to burn ur weekend.. and mostly evening
and u have to got a sweet mouth
i sign up via such promoter
but it was bcos got promo
free installation and box
and free 3 mths subscription for 1 on-demand channel
and 50% off for next 3 mths
min 6 mths contract nia
after tt can just cancel if no want to continue
plus she was so chio
why not? it's another sales job right?
but a few problems lah.
1) income may not be good if you aren't good at selling.
2) weekends and nights confirmed burned. it's door to door, you're going to be knocking on doors from 4/5 to 1030 every weekday night. weekends maybe mornings to early afternoon.
don't worry about whether it can sell. if you sense it cannot make it then just change jobs. In fact you should continue looking anyway.
but i'll say miotv programs not up to date. last I checked the hk serials they have are old and from a lousier tv station.
