The thing is volunteers for this event are entitled to the things above mentioned. If I am not wrong, $20 + other goodies.
It's not confirm yet, but the timing is from 4.30am-2pm.
The event is on 7 dec. It's a sunday.
aiyah
i promise my fwen i be cheerleader for him and his group liao
TS you got mail..
might consider.. but the thing is the event is still quite some time away.. so i cant confirm during that time i'll be free or not.. by when u need to confirm?
The thing is, there will be some briefing etc. and planning on their part.So they need the participants name etc. I need confirmation of registration by this Thurs.
Since you haven't plan your activities on that day, why not just put this event in your slot for that day?
got any requirement like age?? poly student maybe want go do for fun lol :p
The minimum age is 16. But better 17 years old. It's perfect for poly,ITE, Uni students. Adults too.
Anybody else interested? Feel free to e-mail me.
lemme discuss with my frens firsts
some reason why they extend the closing date so many time for volunteer
1. S$20.00 is a bit too little (cannot cover mid night taxi fare from home to padang)
2. too long hours
3. Runner participating fees increase but volunteer still S$20.00
4. 30,000 runners also S$20.00 for volunteers few year back
5. 50,000 runners still S$20.00 for volunteers for 2008?
6. can get adidas T shirt but sizes subject to availability .
7. leader get appreaction dinner , volunteer not entitled

1. I believe $20 more than enough to take taxi from home to padang.(If take taxi). Isn't this called volunteering and not being paid as worker?
2. It's not confirmed that the timings is of from 4.30am-2pm. However, it is confirmed not more than 2pm.
3-5. As pointed in point 1. Not being paid as workers
6. This is the reason why there is a need to place in the shirt size upon registration.
7. Not aware of this.
