Our company, Maxsphere Solution is looking for people for available Positions below.
Buyer (6months Contract)
Location : Tuas
Working hours : Monday - Friday (8.25am - 5.30pm)
Job Scope :
1.Update Packaging Approved Vendor List and Price List.
2.Monitor delivery performance of chemical & packaging
suppliers.
3.Source for packaging materials & liaise with QA for
evaluation and approval.
4.File claims against suppliers for defective packaging
materials & downtime.
5.Verify supplier and forwarder invoices.
6.Ensure that replacement of rejected goods is delivered
on time.
7. Generate POs, disseminate shipping documents, filing,
typing & other clerical duties.
8. Ensure that QA receives their C.O.As and Inspection
Reports on all deliveries.
9.Adhere to QEHS standards and requirements.
10.Co-ordinate with shipping and forwarders on local
clearance of imports.
11.Follow up with suppliers for Corrective and Preventive
Action.
12.Liaise with suppliers for UN qualification of packaging
materials.
13.Co-ordinate with Corporate Communication and suppliers
for artwork process.
14.Generate & evaluate Statistical Purchasing Reports.
15.Conduct stock check @ suppliers' warehouse.
16.Perform other duties as and when required.
Salary : $1,000 (increment up to $500 upon confirmation)
Requirements
- G.C.E. 'A' Level or Diploma in Supply Chain Management
- 3 to 5 years' relevant experience
- Computer literate.
- Good interpersonal skills
