how much is the starting pay for security guard?

with no cert like nsrs or wsq with 12 hrs shift and 4 off days per month.how much is the starting pay like?
my friend have been offer a salary of 1300 with sponorship of wsq course followed by a bond of one year. please offer your valuable advice,thanks -
try cisco... they pay better... but I think the bond is longer than 1 year.....

Security companies usually want people with experience,usually those who are formerly in the army or police. Pay can be pretty good at ard $2K but usually hab to work 12-hour shifts....
