Junior Police Officer Intake

Hi all (:
I'm a lady who's keen to join the police force. It's been my dream to be an officer (sorry if sounds cliche tho haha!) I've ever applied JPO position back in 2013, but after the SA I got rejected.. Didn't even get the chance to go for any interviews. I AM STILL interested to join the force, but after that 1st rejection, I lost all my confidence ):
I don't know if there're people like me out there, and I am still unsure why I got rejected. I have so many doubts to clear, and still not sure how this things goes.. Haissssss... Can any kind soul help me to clear my doubts??
1) Is height and weight a factor to be in?
2) Is it that bad to join with just HIGHER NITEC cert? (because I've seen somewhere in this forum, somebody said to just forget it if we have just a nitec cert.. Go for diploma first before applying.. But the thing is.. I've ever applied for Diploma to further my studies, but got rejected too ): Am I that bad........)
For now these 2 questions are really all around my mind for years.. (really no joke)
Any kind souls pleaseeeeee.. I woulod really appreciate it..

I think if you're within the BMI range it shouldn't be an issue..I think there's a minimum height you need to be at..not sure thou what's the height..anyways they would request a full size pic from you if you're slightly underweight or overweight..well signing on with dip means more money to bring back that's all..if you have the potential they definitely would sponsor you for further studies..cheers..

I see.. Within BMI range has to be in the acceptable range right? I'm slightly overweight.. Maybe I'll shed those excess kgs first before applying haha. Thank you @sreekily18 (: for answering my doubts.. Now I'm just hoping somebody could get back to me about the height thingy.. At least I can have a peace of mind.. I wish I was tall enough to not worry about the height factor hahaha. Cheers mate!!

Hi to all , I went for junior police officer interview. Finished 2 rounds of interview and was called up for medical. After going for medical my application was u successful. My pes status bL1. Served my Ns In police as well. Passed ippt and shooting as well. Any idea if I can reapply guys? Cheers for the help and thanks in advance

Hi All,
I applied through the Career Gov website.
20th September 2016- Applied through the Career Gov website. After an hour, I checked back and my application status is Shortlisted.
However, I have yet to receive any email or SMS with the Selection Assessment details.
How long do we need to wait for the email or SMS to attend the Selection Assessment?

I'm not a smoker so I don't know.. I sent an email again hoping to know how long more I have to wait. Its been two months since medical.

Applied - May 14,Acceptance Response - May 16,
Selection Assessment - May 27,
Medical Checkup - August 3rd,
Today is the 12th of October. No responses so far. No rejection letter either.
Probably still in processing..

Hi guys,
do anyone know if female and male intake for SPF the same? I'm female who applied SPF in May, gotten shortlisted and went through interviews and medical check up. Currently still waiting, it been 3 months after my medical check up was done. Been emailing and called them but all they replied was still processing.

Welcome to the waiting club. From the previous posts here, it seems that there is no gender difference for the intake.

Any female candidates who went through interview and medical check during June-July period are also waiting? Emailed them and the officer said that application/interview process can last for 3-6months or longer depending on cases. Kind of unsure if I should continue wait or look for job.. ); Hope to hear from them soon though...

If you still continue for the next procesures, then you probably pass or still have a chance. They may or may not give you another round of interview.
