Junior Police Officer Intake

  Hi, I'm currently a NSF who just completed my BMT.

  I am extremely interested in joining the Police Force and have applied for Home Team Merit award before BMT but have only gotten SCDF offer which I did not accept.

  I have received my posting on 18 Dec 2015 and was posted to OCS. Is there any way which I can transfer to Police Force? I am really passionate about joining the Police Force and have expressed my interest in it as well. I have heard stories of people being pulled out of OCS to go to the Police Force but I have no idea how it works. Any suggestions or advice is valuable.

  Hi guys, I went for my SA on the 20th November 2015. However, I had not received any news yet.... Feeling so kanchiong right now. 

   

  Any of you went on the same date but received news about it already?

  Hi,

  I did my SA on 18 Sept 2015. I have also done my medical check up about a month later. Those who had theirs on the same day, have you gotten any replies yet??

  I did my SA on 21st September and went for the medical about a month later as well.. They did ask for my CPF statement on November and I'm still left waiting..

  @sreekily are you currently working? i was ask to go for my medical but they will ask for CPF contribution from all people who is working or only selected people? any idea?

  @kurumba just to check with you, can you remember which number they used to contact you for medical check up?

  Yeah I'm currently working..I suppose they asked my CPF contribution to justify the salary I was asking for..I'm pretty sure all those who work previously were asked to submit..

  May I know usually how long will it takes to get a response from spf after the medical?

  Will past injuries actually affect the application? My pes status is B1

  in processing is the only thing they can say so no choice. when did u apply? did they ask you how many month of notice you need to give to your company??

  I applied early September..and yes they did ask my notice duration..have a feeling I might need to wait more longer..

  No choice ya, if that's what you really want then you will be willing to wait for the outcome. I have friend waited for 6month

  @sreekily do you still remenber how long they took before they asked for your cpf contribution? they ask for your cpf is after your medical or before medical?

  They would ask after the medical..and recruitment called me today to send even more CPF contribution..hahaha..well I asked why and said something like pay difference or something like that..
