Application timeline:
15/10/2014 - Submitted online application via Career.gov
17/10/2014 - Received notification that they are reviewing my application
21/10/2014 - Received invitation for Selection Assessment
18/12/2014 - Medical assessment at Shenton Medical
08/05/2015 - Formalities Session
12/05/2015 - Enlistment & Training
I can't remember when is my actual bond signing but its within a week from my formalities if I recall correctly. I understand the wait is excruiating but unless you can think of a reason why you could be rejected and there is no rejection letter/email, you should eventually get in. Don't give up!
Hope it helps(:
PS: Check out my thread on what to bring for enlistment(:

Anyone can tell me my chances and when should be most likely the next intake if I can make it? T.T
Hey there! Judging on the high volume of applicants this year it is quite likely that your application will take at least 3-5 months after medical!
Even so, there are also people who gets rejected after like 1-2 months wait thereafter their medical.
Not trying to pull down your morality! But just wanna say expect the worst as it will least thee disappointment!
But I personally believe if all goes well for you, probably you may enter the October intake! There's one on the 6th!
Guys. Updates for mine.
20th May: Applied for JPO @ CareerSG.
27th May: Email Invitation for SA.
11th June: SA.
1st July: Call from Shenton Medical to go checkup.
6th July: Medical Checkup.
Good luck to all of us!

Hey! Nope! The next intake after July is on 11th August! That will be my intake! Basically, for your case you will most likely (90% chance) get into the intake closest to your NS enlistment, which is 6th October! And there is no way to bring forward your enlistment because there are too many applicants in process currently! Atleast that's what I heard from my recruitment officer!
im a pre-enlistee as well! And I've tried to request enlistment way earlier, but was rejected. :(
Anyone going for the psychometric test on the 6th of July?
Anyone went for the Selection Assessment on 25 June 2015?
Hi guys can anyone help me. Where can I check my selection assessment application or its status.
Hello everyone! :D
I chanced upon this forum while searching for info about the application process for SPF. Having read through most of the posts here, I have to say I love how everyone is so encouraging and supportive!
I'm currently awaiting convocation for my uni graduation and definitely applying for JPO, but I'm thinking of getting my fitness up before doing so. Any advice if I should make sure I'm physically ready or should I apply immediately (from the info I gathered, there's quite a wait ahead)? Also, any ladies in the same boat as me? :)
Hi guys any help for me? where can or do i check my application status for my SA interview? or will they email it to me?
Mary you have to be patient. Calling recruitment won't help; they'd just say your application is processing :)
YNWA why not become a SPO since you're a uni grad?
The road to fitness doesn't take a day, so definitely embark on it, ease it into your schedule, make it a discipline. That said, there's no rush

Hey Mary! As suggested by darklighter, you really have to be patient. The average wait for results after the first SA is about 1 month. Depending what your next outcome will be.
Usually for rejection, you will receive it within 2 weeks after your SA.
For second interview, you will receive it about 1 month after your SA
and if medical straight after, you will receive it about 2 months after your SA
when I meant receive, it would mean somebody will call you up, and an email will be sent to you thereafter. There is no way for you to check the status yourself. And calling them will just give you a very standard reply, which will be "application is still processing". Unless you're lucky enough to get something more than that.
PS. my answers to you are basically rough estimation from what I had observed, definitely there are also cases that vary/differ much from these suggestions.
Hiiiii!! I was just wondering do they ask for cpf statements from all candidates or is it only applicable to those who are currently employed? I went for my medical in May, anyone has any idea when they will ask for the cpf statements?
