hey twenty2 during the assement one of the officer mention that those with tattoo please ensure it can be cover when you are wearing uniform. ..As spf accept tattoo but must nt be able to be seen if u are wearing uniform & nothing to do with secret society...my advise to u is to call the officer & explain ur situation to them if they able to accept ur tattoo ??? if they said is ok u may go... if they dun... tell them to postpone till ur tattoo is completely being laser off..??? i think is better nt to take the risk as once they reject u it takes at least a few mths for u to reapply. so best dun risk your chance & waste ur time...do once & do gd & no risk...last but nt least pls do nt ignore & dun go for assement without telling them....it will reflect very bad abt u & waste ur chance if u want to apply again...cheer...

haha so mind sharing w us how is the life in TRACOM? :))
Actually it's not bad. I think cause it's the first week so they not so strict with us. For guys who have passed NS, this would be easier I think. Life there is very routine and disciplined. Everyday we go for training and classes. Food there is ok. Seniors are very nice and helpful.
Overall everything is good ! :)

I read from other forum saying that usually the first month they will b strict to us then after that things will get easier.
Hmm I keep on wondering how life will be when I go in. As in between me and my squad mate :/
Oh btw do they allow camera phone inside HTA?
Hi DanT
I see that there's a group chat that is with regards to this, mind if I join? Thanks!

Hi cancan. What is your facebook acc
Hi Pbert.
Camera phone is strictly not allowed.
You will only be allowed to bring charger if you are a Squad IC or Communication IC..
Hope it helps!
Hey all,
I submitted my online application on 13 September and went for the selection assessment on 10 October. For the selection assessment, i went through the psychological tests, height & weight checks, body checks and interview, and I was the first one to be interviewed, so i ended early.
2 hours after the interview, one of the officers from the career centre called me and told me that the interviewers was pleased with me and said i could be a good police officer. But, i did not meet their BMI requirements. (I am aware of that, but i just give it a try) Then the officer gave me a chance to redeem myself by losing 3-5kg (which i can probably lose in 3 months), and told me that once i manage to do it, I must give them a call asap.
So im just wondering, what are the chances of me getting the job?
Now im working out more then ever, and this is a new motivation for me, so im quite excited.
Hi sitikammy.
Congratulations for being able to impress the panel interviewers.
Regarding working out, it is also very important to eat right. Dont starve yourself but instead eat a smaller portion than you usually have.
And change your workout regime weekly because your body is smart and will be able to adapt your exercise habits. As a result, you no longer require to expand alot of energy. Any exercise that has a high level of intensity with short recovery time will also help greatly.
Im not a fitness expert or anything. Just sharing my experience of losing 7-8kg in under 3 months.
Good luck!

Hi DreamsGirlz,
Can I know whether did you bring everything that was stated in the appt letter? You see, to be frank, I will like to minimise my expenditure before reporting to TRACOM.
Hi guys, I've just read through all 21 pages of this thread and it provided so much information about interviews and all. I'm gg for SA on the 30th oct and I understand that the waiting time between stages is unpredictable. Should I inform them that I have already made travel plans next year in jan and april? Do you think it'll affect my chances or worst come to worst they'll make me choose between either/both trips and getting into the force?
