I applied for another govt job few months ago. It turned to in process too last month. But i havnt gone for any interview. So i presume they are reviewing my application.
For zac probably reviewing your medical.
Cat, maybe they need your ic to process you for medical? Who knows.

Anyone knows how long it takes for them to review our medical checkup? I've been to two checkups actually. The second one was because they said my blood count was too low and requested for a second blood test.

Cat - I think they ask you is a good thing. That day i was being called up to take pictures of my tattoos again. The next day called up for medical. Hahaha
Mischief - It depend. Some wait 1 month, some waited 8 months

i think signning up on any Full time work is very risky now.......
I emailed them to ask about my application status which i did my med check on 25 July.
this is what they reply..
Your application is still in process.We won’t be able to provide you an estimation time of your next outcome of the process.Please note that we will note you with your status as soon as possible.Right now, I'm non-stop working temp. Jobs and I have no ideas how long must i keep working temp. jobs and everytime i sign each contract to work.. i worried that it would crashed with any upcoming news..

I agree with you MissFreeze. Been working part time and temp jobs now, can't even look for a decent job cause im scared i cannot commit to the position

I would advice to take up a permanent job. It's a win--win situation.
1) spf offers before you get a perm job
2) spf offers after you get a perm job. Most job will put their new employee on a 1 to 3 months probation. And if you were to tender, you'll only need to serve few days notice.
3) spf offers after your probation period ends. Just inform spf that you need a 1 month notice. They will put you in a later intake.
4) spf reject you. At least you are already working

What i did was i find a full time job. Since you are already signing on for leasr 3 years. Even after your bond, your next employee wont bother if you work 2 months in the company cause you have served 3 years in spf

Hoo yah. I just received the call from one of the officer from spf recuitment centre that i am being offered. He said he will send me an email soon. I am so happy. This is really a damn solid good week for me and as well out of my entire life the best birthday present i had received.

Thanks rifm. I also have no idea when i will be enlisting. Still got to wait for the email for more info. Lol. I think your turn is coming soon. Cos i went 3 days earlier than you for medical. I went on 18th july. Not really ORD from here. Still will log in once awhile to see whether can help other guys for more info if they need help. :)

Thanks all. Haha. At this moment is just verbal. No black and white through email yet. Must receive the email already then counted as 100% confirm. Lol Dant: think you cant compare the time frame with me. Cos my medical they review is got some minor problem with me. Luckily they still manage to accept me. Haha Clarence and Catherine: dont worry so much. Hope you guys can go straight to medical. Another day have pass but yet receive any confirm email from them. Haiz

If they verbally call and tell me that I am being accepted, I straight tender and give 1 month notice . LOL cause usually will be fast after "being accepted"

Don't worry bud. You will be fine. I went medical on 2nd sept. Maybe I have longer wait hahaha
