"Nobody who bought a drill actually wanted a drill. They
wanted a hole."Therefore, if you want to sell drills, you
should advertise information about making holes – NOT
information about drills!" - Perry Marshall.
Just be the boss at the top of the pyramid lor.
Oops, did I reveal the secret?
Well here is what that means..
One of the most important lessons I learned during this discovery, is that our product
is not what you and I, as network marketers, really think it is.
People don't care about your opportunity.
They just don't.
They haven't been waiting all of their lives to be an Herbalife rep, so why should it
surprise you when they say 'no thanks'?
What they do care about, is finding a solution to their problem.

Lizzy has the better answer... lolx...
TS isn't wrong... just tat the first post teaching applies to marketing in general... not just MLM...
The SOLUTION to your problem, is in the quote above, and here is what it means...
"Nobody who bought a drill, actually wanted a drill." - You didn't buy
your MLM business because you wanted an MLM business.
"They wanted a hole." - You want more money, time, etc...
"Therefore, if you want to sell drills, you should advertise information about making
holes – NOT information about drills!" - People don't want your biz, and don't like to
be sold (they like to buy!).
So the best way to get them to buy your drill (your biz), is to sell them information on
how to successfully create a hole (reach their goal).
In other words, you want to get your prospects to sell themselves on using your
opportunity as the tool with which to accomplish their goals.
The best way to do that, is to market and sell inexpensive information on how to drill a
hole, faster, easier, and cheaper. After all, people would rather spend $20 to learn how
to successfully do something, instead of $200 on a tool they are unsure about, and
have never really used before.
Now, inside that inexpensive manual, you recommend using your drill, as the best
possible way to create a hole! Now you're out of the picture. It is just them, selling
themselves through the info contained in the book!
Get it!? Good!
Here's the deal...
People would rather learn how to do something, than actually do it.
Most people are lazy.
1) See a need, fill a need.
2) Cannot see a need, create a need.
There, I said it in 2 sentences, what you tried to say in 3 posts.
The next thing we need to do is realize that...
"Network Marketing is an industry of marketing and promotion,
pursued by people who have no idea how to market or promote."
Ironic isn't it?
But that is the simple truth.
90% of networkers are employees with no business ownership experience what-so-ever.
This explains a lot doesn't it!?
This is also why so many upline leaders teach the "shot gun" approach of making your
100 list, getting information to them, and seeing who sticks... Anyone can do that.
You don't need any marketing skills at all.
And you know what????

if you are so good in MLM, would you be kind enough to share your success with new networkers? thank you.
Look at McDonald's.
The system does everything else. It does the marketing, which sells the product,
which is cooked by the assembly line.
The only job of McDonald's employees is to provide customer service,
(human connection), take the order, and push the buttons that keep the machine
running. The manager is there to provide training and teach the workers on how to
become managers.
Ok, so here is how this should look for your MLM business:
Your goal here is to create a system that does everything for you and your reps
except the easiest, yet most critical part: Build the personal relationship with your
prospects.
That is why a Million $ biz like McDonald's can be run by 18 year old kids in high school
It's not out of spite, or disrespect. It's out of love.
I want to help you succeed, and if I have to push a bit,
then so be it...
But understand my knowledge is not for free. Free is for the weak.
Free is not appreciated.
Free is for those who "want" but are not willing to work.
Here is a million dollar tip for you that you should already be applying in your
MLM biz...
Why is it that some companies out there are literally giving away their product for free
on a first order, yet they are being swallowed like guppies by the sales of MLM whales
who charge a premium price for their product?
Why do you think that is?
Here's why:
stop giving free advice to bastards here. they do not appreciate.
singaporean chinese are selfish la. onli think of making money themselves. wen u teach, they scared others earn more.
The secrets is how you apply The Secret.
MLM is all about sharing.
MLM is the right opportunity. As long as you step on the right platform. MLM is MLM, it is totally not same as Money Game which is also called Pyramid Selling. So don't step onto the wrong platform.
how to succeed in MLM is to walk away from it
Clones talking to each other.... fun meh?
is able to turn a drill into a dishwasher too
