the food is cheap there. if you like steamboat, give MK and Coca a shot.
make sure u are there for the wkend cuz the chatuchak weekend market is a must-go. That's my fav place!
If you like to do some sightseeing, take boat ride down the choa phraya river. The temples on the bank of the river are good for photography. If you have more time to spare, take a day trip to the ancient ruin city Ayuthaya (think wrong spelling). That should cost u about S$100 per pax. -

hmmm local designers, there's quite a few good ones there, but can't remember their names offhand. I like the brand Jaspal - somewhat like Guess.
