braised seacucumber...
seacucumber is usually sold dehydrated... you need to soak them in water for a few hours... taking time to take them out to feel else they become too waterlogged and lose all texture..
need dried chinese mushrooms... again, soak in water.. do not throw out the water they were soaked in.. adds to the taste...
other types of vegetables, may add as you like.. i like the stuff (i dunno what it is in english.."dang orh"
sauce (if i remember rightly)
soy sauce
sugar
about 2 huge ladles of stock
chinese mushrooms
bamboo shoots (diced)
rice wine
cornstarch
water
sesame oil
green onions
ginger
stirfry the fragrant stuff like sliced ginger and onions..
add stuff like the bamboo shoots, whatever vegetables, mushrooms and qq
allow liquid to reduce by simmering it for a while...
add cornstarch, sesame oil and cover for a while..
serve
man, i should have been a cook..
