  well the bible has already misled people for millenniums already for starters. if your religion is well and good, there is no need scare people by condemning them eternal hell if they do not accept their teachings or promising them heavenly bliss if they do sign up. promising heaven if they sign up or condemning them to eternal hell, what kind of message is it sending out? there is no need to do that if your religion is true and real.

  Whether or not it is right or wrong, whether or not it was deserved or unprovoked, it is true that this forum has degraded into a Christian bashing forum.

  However, to say that this forum has lost its purpose is debatable. While those who started it or other christians may have had one intention, anti-christians another, ultimately the owner will want it to be here. Reason being for traffic flow. He will want people to come in and make christianity/christian related posts, whatever the content is. He may or may not want it to be a peaceful sub-forum, but the maintanence of it he leaves to his admin or moderators as it is with subforums generally.

  One thing to note is that it is one thing to be a non-christian and a different thing altogether to be anti-christian. People have their right to believe or not believe, whatever faith or religion it is. And among each group there are good and bad. For example, not every muslim is a terrorist, not every buddhist is a vegetarian, and certainly not all non-christians are so actively into christian bashing unlike a lot of the ones here.

  People have their right to not believe, but being a non-believer does not automatically mean you are anti-christian. I am very thankful for my non-christian friends of other faiths and those without faiths whom I have in real life. Likewise, myself and other christians closer to me extend the same goodwill. They are nothing like some of the people here in this forum.

  p.s; persucution did not start only when Christianity became the "main religion" in Rome, it began even before that. Persucution does not happen only to members of only one faith either.
