and if one know that something is a sin or wrong and continues to do it anyway, then they are moving away from heaven....

And if you choose to believe in Christ, then following His way is the only way to heaven. For Christians, following Christ's commandment is the way. If a Christian continues to sin and still think he will escape hell, then I think that's his own illusion....
You choose your own path....not God. God is love cause He points you in the direction to heaven.....and in Christian context, follow Christ's way.

Rony Tah, CHC, NCC whatever are really a small fraction of Christianity (and many will agree that they twisted the gospel and present wrap teachings) and their actions does not represent Christianity as a whole.
Which is why I said that main stream Christians are comforted to know that they are preached the right thing.
If religions cannot stand up to facts and science and gets bashed, there is nothing you can do about it. But first, not every bashing is supported by facts and like rony tan's bashing on Buddhism, supported by ignorance. There are too many instances of miracles in the christian faith that cannot be supported by facts and therefore gets bashed which is expected.

You are right and I have no problem with that.... but many times, science or not, christians bashing are also based purely on ignorance and hear say....too.
There are also many christians miracles that are supported by science as well as historical facts but non-believers will pass that off as hoax etc....So it is a case of you believe or you don't....it's a personal choice.
