I can't say the same about other stuff, but this religious matter I trust our govt will put in their utmost effort not to allow such to take place in sg. -

I totally disagreed with what you post..He shouldnt blasts / critised other religions in front of his followers. He cannot just bring in other religions and made remarks on that religions. That is unacceptable. If you are mature enough, you should know that.
He should be mindful and stick to his religions teachings. Nothing else.
He offended the other religions. That is the grieve mistakes he made.

If that pastor lives in southern US, maybe he will be applauded for it but not here...not in this country.
Him asking other to use another version of the Bible rather than the one they are reading cast doubts on the Bible being God's words.

I am right that there is no god. existences of god is still debatable till today. so my view is there is no god is right. god is created and invented by ancient people. even the bible were written by man. even god's behaviour in the first and second testament mirrored that of man. why is that so? simply because it is written and authored by man.

in the history of religion and mankind, almost all religions talked about their god, whether one god or many gods, this type of teachings are all too common. all say that their god is the creator of universe and life. salvation can only be obtained if you worship the so and so god and when you die, you will go to heaven and enjoy forever. go explore and read other religions for knowledge sake.
as for hell thingy, thats the use of fear as a threat and carrot. insurance also touches on human fear and people buy insurance for peace of mind and protection in case anything happens.
