Rony Tan should also apologise in front of live TV and also in the forums. He should post comments in forum to explain why he did what he did. He should let reporters interview him to explain his actions and to know he is truly repentent and is remorseful. otherwise it is just empty talk.

Ok forget about Rony its too late to punish him now that he has been let off very leniently but what garmen should do is go on a witch hunt and expose many like him from all the religious group as well.I bet there a dozens of them out there

If that is the teaching of the bible, he can only apologise in whatever media but the teaching still stands in the bible and christianity.

Religion has always been humanity’s most sensitive issue. This is also the reason if it could be minimized, it should be minimized - to bloat it could lead to religious hatred - and no one could helm this as that is even dangerous. Once it has been quieted down and he has been warned, it should be and let things go, but to be monitored and to step up harsher further if this is repeated again.

The greatest failure of any organized religion is its historical inability to convince their followers that the ethic of reciprocity applies to ALL humans, not merely to persons like themselves.

I think Rony does not celebrate CNY. I have 2 christian colleagues and they told me they dun celebrate CNY and also christmas. to them, CNY is another public holiday for them to rest.

All religions started at the same point, and are largely a response to human fear. When the first humans came about, they do not know how the universe is the way it is, and hence came up with many answers through religion, and also used religion to surpress fellow people by making up the concept of hell and heaven, and even karma to control people to do good instead of bad for their group's own benefit. It had also been known that the neanderthals had a belief system, and they believed in the afterlife and some God.
