pre-paid cards

  i have heard tt for handfones tt operate on pre-paid cards, there is some code tt one can enter into the handfone, so tt one can continue calling even if the pre-paid value has been exhausted.
  
  is this true?
  
  is it possible for such callers to be traced?
  
  btw, im not interested in the code itself since im using a sim card. i jus wan to verify something i was told. thanks!

  yes... u got to key in some codes to activate the cash value
  
  when u sign up for the SIM card for the pre-paid services, u would hav registered your ID liao...so traceable lor

  yup, u can enter codes to keep calling, but den u will risk being trace and jail

  no. i mean when one finishes the value in the card, apparently there is some code (o cos unknown to the telcos) tt one can key in to continue using the fone WITHOUT topping up the card.
  
  want to find out if this is true...
