In the statement, Samsung urged users to power down their devices. It also confirmed that customers could choose a full refund on the Galaxy Note 7 or to exchange it for another device with a refund of the price difference.
Samsung is also working closely with telcos and retail partners to work out details of the exchange and refund process. If you've purchased the Samsung Concierge service, a solution is being worked out as well.

The Samsung Note 7 has been truly a device to remember for both good and bad reasons. Still, the Galaxy S7 Edge isn't a bad replacement as specs-wise it is pretty good on paper, despite not having a stylus.
