Free calls, messaging and mobile data for M1 customers over National Day long weekend
In celebration of Singapore's Golden Jubilee, telco M1 will be offering its customers free voice calls, SMS/MMS messages and mobile data for local usage over the four-day National Day weekend.
Both M1's post-paid and pre-paid customers will enjoy the offer, which will take effect automatically after midnight on Aug 6 and will end at midnight on Aug 10, the telco said in a statement.
M1's Chief Marketing Officer, Mr P. Subramaniam, said: "Singapore is widely acknowledged to be one of the world's most connected societies, and we are proud to be part of this remarkable story for the last 18 years.
"As a Singapore company, we want to do our part to mark this milestone celebration, and what better way to do that than allow our customers to freely share their joys and wishes for our nation with each other, on this very special occasion," he said.

sIngtel and starhub, anything from you?
Starhub, come on la, let starhub cable customers enjoy free viewing of all channels .... for a period of time ....... l
Wonder if starhub is aiming to be in competition with mediacorpse ..... starhub now produce their own singapore programmes. For goodness sake, let mediacork do local programmes. We do not ne ed local produced programmes from cable provider. We have enough. Already there are local channels channel U and 8 doing it. The very reason people subscribe to cable coz we dun like local produced programmes. Use you brain la starhub.
