Telecommunications company M1's 2 million mobile users will be able to make calls and send SMS and MMS messages for free every Sunday next month.
The telco is offering these free services as part of its 17th anniversary celebration.
"Sunday is the day when most of us have a bit more free time. With free calls, we hope our customers will take the opportunity to pick up their phone and share some love and laughter with those they care about most," said Mr P. Subramaniam, chief marketing officer of M1.
Singapore's third mobile operator launched its service here in April 1997. In September 2012, it was the first telco here to roll out 4G mobile services nationwide.
