unlimited data plan for starhub pre-paid card?

hi all,
just wondering, if i've a starhub prepaid card ($18), is there any kind of add-on that i can buy so that i can hv something similar to a monthly line subscription kind of thing?
the monthly subscription has a long contract, but i just need a data plan for 1 - 2 mths.
what i need is to have the data plan to send many sms(es) and use whatsapp as well.
maybe not unlimited, but more like 4 - 6 GB that kinda thing.

You see, they got 60 day 3.5gb plan. You want more of course pay more lah, right?

whoa like that not very worth it leh.
i'm thinking of signing up for a line, but from what i know, signing up for line means they also give u the phone as part of the bundle right? if i dun want the phone, then how?
cos i like the current phone i'm using.

Its a prepaid plan mah. If pre paid plans got better deals than post paid, then why telcos bother with post paid bundles?
