The wait is finally over for Samsung fans.
The smartphone maker has announced that the GALAXY S4 (with LTE) will be available in Singapore from next Saturday, 27 April.
It will come in Black Mist and White Frost at S$998 without contract.
Samsung says the S4 is slimmer and comes with a larger screen size and battery.
It boasts of having the world’s first Full HD SUPER AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441 PPI and of using Corning’s new Gorilla® Glass 3.
Equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera, the S4 also comes with a suite of enriched camera features.
The ‘Dual Shot’ function allows simultaneous use of both front and rear cameras.
The device is also equipped with 12 outstanding shooting modes including ‘Drama Shot’, which allows one to capture all the action in one continuous time-lapse, and ‘Sound & Shot’, which uniquely stores sound and voice together as the picture is taken.
Pre-order or registration of interest began Wednesday at the Samsung Experience Stores as well as on the websites of the three mobile operators.
If you are undecided on whether to get the smartphone, you can have an interactive guided hands-on experience with the S4 at three major roadshows at Plaza Singapura, Takashimaya and Wisma Atria from 27 April to 12 May.
In conjunction with the launch of the S4, Samsung will also be presenting the Samsung Fashion Steps Out 2013.
There will be an exclusive showcase featuring the latest capsule collections by renowned fashion designers, Ashley Isham and Joe Chia, at the launch event of the fashion extravaganza.
