Hi guys!
I'm planning to get a phone in Nov this year.
However , with the new 4G network and LTE phone , they confused me a lot.
So troublesome
So , i know i have to get a 4G network. As i read articles online. They believe next year or a few more years time. 4G network will take over the 3G network.
Since in Singtel , M1 and Starhub , We're not able to sign for 3G network plan anymore right?
So if i'm getting a phone in nov. I will need to sign for a 4G plan and i will need to buy a LTE phone to support it right?
But ,don't you guys think that with 4G network now. The amount of LTE phones on sales are so limited?
Somemore, I planning to get a S3. But there's no LTE version yet.
So how do you guys think about with this issue?
Die loh like that, everyone got to switch to 4G and use a 4G phone?
buy 3g phone.. LTE phones are so expensive now.. it'll drop few years later.. why confuse for the things that had not been socialize yet? 4g will takes time to get to the market just like 3g before.. and even some people still using 2g phone, and it works
agree don't buy LTE phone, the price is high, it'll drop few years later..:-)
just use 3G first while waiting for the 4G network to settle down and also the number of phones supporting LTE..
No, you should jump on the 4G network, so you don't add to the 3G network congestion that we all share.
But if you guys were me. Who is going to sign a phone in Nov this year.
What phone will you buy? 3G version or the LTE version?
Cause i'm planning to get a S3 and i don't know the LTE version will be out in nov or not.
Cause in Nov when i'm going to sign up for a plan it will be in 4G network.
I am going to buy the Note 2 3G, because 4G plan give me only so much bundled data, and high speed, for fark?
The Note 2 won't be out soon because if it did, it is going to steal sales away from the S3, the Note LTE, and the Iphone 5, and samsung doesn't want that.
Yes , ohmygod! I also want note 2 badly. However , i need to sign a new plan in NOV
I believe note 2 won't be out at that time. So s3 is the only one in my list.
If you are currently on contract, you don't have to die die must renew or sign a new one after it ends you know? They won't just cut you off.
Nah , I got my personal reason as i need to give my phone away in NOV.
So i need a new phone and new contract.
I reckon I'm gonna give the Note 2 a skip.

MAN! This looks cool!
Qualcomm, in collaboration with Huawei, ZTE, Quanta and BandRich, today announced the launch of LTE TDD multi-mode devices which will support HSPA, HSPA+, LTE and EVDO networks in multiple frequencies.
This may pave the way for the roll out of 4G networks in India. The Government of India auctioned 4G spectrum in the country in June 2010 but other than BSNL, which launched high-speed 4G networks in some places using WiMax technology, no other operator has done anything in this regards.
