Question about personal hotspot on iPhone 4s iOS 5.1?

  Do you have to sign some sort of contract with the carrier to enable the 'Personal hotspot' option to come out in the settings?Because I can't see it.Thanks

  Check cellular data is on/enabled.

  And check your carrier settings, make sure got APN settings, like singtel got IDEAS, blah blah blah.

  Thanks turns out that I have to contract Singtel.Sighs...
