I am using a Samsung GT-c3053,a very old phone.Recently I took out the sim card and put in into my new phone, and the message center number sort of changed,so I bought another sim card for my new phone. So I put the old sim card back into my old phone, and I can't send messages with it probably because of the message center number.I tried to change the settings with all the smsc numbers on this website http://www.ozeki.hu/index.phtml?ow_page_number=458
But I still can't send messages.Any solutions to this?I really don't want to go to Singtel headquarters.Thanks.
P.S:Do you need to add a plus sign in front of the message center number?Just asking.
Why am I unable to send SMS?
You will not be able to send SMS if you have not set up the Message Centre number. This set-up process is a one-time effort. Generally, the steps are as follows. Please use them together with your hand phone manual if necessary:
STEPS:
** Depending on your handphone model, "Message Setting" could be "Mail Setting" or "Message Editor".
Yes probably you need to add, hold down the "0" key till it turns into +.
Is 'Center address' similar to message center number?Because thats what it says on my phone.
Ok thanks I realised that my message center number had been wrong as I didn't add the plus sign.Lol.
