Can we trust the Phones available in Singapore?

  Hi,

  I came to Singapore on a tour. I stay at Landmark Village Hotel, Victoria street, North Bridge road, singapore.  I found a shop besides my Hotel in which Blackberry is available for 200 Sig$.  When I check the phone, it seems to be good. But when I check the packing and the accessories, they seems to be duplicate. How come they clone the phone same to same? Does singapore has the fake market too for all electronics?  Can anybody suggest me a good place to buy mobile at low prices with out contract?

  as long as can make/receive calls/sms = gd enough..

  most importantly it won't explode 1/2way while u're using/charging it..

  Ask the hotel employees for help where to buy a mobile phone.

  inside far east plaza at orchard road ~~~Mobile Square, famous with locals n tourists.

  goggle to find their website.  U can buy yr blackberry authentic from there.  Iphone also got.

  I just hope that my newly purchased phone from authorized dealer is really new and not some phone set that are use for testing.

  As you know, many products are MADE IN CHINA.

  $200 can end up paiding $500.

  wan cheap and good just anyhow buy 1 will do. dont expect best price with best bargin.

  wan good quality buy direct from singtel or M1 or starhub, wan cheap price just go those HP shop and buy a normal phone.

  But I am sure ts dont know where is sim lim or even the lucky plaza.

  they even come all the way here to buy computers.  Overseas countries too big, hard to travel to get real stuff.  Singapore small and easy.  All crowd in one area.

  they got the $$$ to travel, sure got $$$ to spend.  somemore GST can be refunded wat.

   

  main thing they can get the latest model here.  Faster than their countries.
