SINGTEL has clinched an exclusive deal to sell Samsung's Android-powered Galaxy Tab.
The tablet, running Google's Android 2.2 OS, will be available from Nov 13, only to SingTel customers.
The 7-inch device has 16GB of internal memory and a slot to expand that by up to 32GB by using a microSD card.
While the screen is smaller than the iPad's nearly 10-inch display, the Galaxy Tab supports Adobe's Flash video software, which is barred by Apple from running on the iPad.
The Galaxy Tab will be available with SingTel's existing 3G Flexi price plans which include free local outgoing calls, SMSes and up to 12 GB of free data usage, which range from $39 to $95.
It will also be available with a range of SingTel's home and mobile broadband plans.
