3G SIM on old phone?

  Is there anyone using 3G SIM card on a very old phone(2G)...maybe manufactured around 1998 to 2003....Nokia 8310...9110...Ericsson SH888...etc

   

  Want to find out if it is possible...

  Yes, it is possible. But you will only have 2G coverage.
