Starhub mobile plan

  hi all,

  recently, my bro signed up for the starhub student plan (that 3G Power something plan with unlimited SMS), around S$20+ per month and comes with the LG GM730 phone.

  since he can surf websites with it, does it carry with it a separate charge for using it to surf websites? i've contacted SH but they usually take some time to reply.

  if im correct, you bro will be charge at $36 maximum for data charges WITH the data plan

  if u do not have the data plan. 10 mins can cost more then $100

  thanks! so, data plan by default is not included in student plan?

  also, i think only Facebook surfing is free on this student plan right? maybe someone with similar plan can confirm.

  Nikar, is your brother using STarhub internet? 

  If it is a different ISP think there will be charge.   Check with them.

  Is the mobile line from starhub stable?  

  I find the mobile plan rather expensive.

  At the moment I am enjoying good rates under Singtel, subscribed under my cousin.

  Facebook & MSN under the current student plan yes its free.

  if i am correct, its only for half or one year..

  and i doubt it come under default student plan UNLESS your brother has request for it.
