I would like to buy a hp
without signing up for a plan. Going to the main telco shops in the
shopping malls is too troublesome as the queue is often very long.
Is it safe to buy a hp from the M1 or Singtel distributor stores which are usually found in hdb town centrals?
I have heard stories about unpleasant encounters when buying from the
small "ah beng" hp shops like selling used hp, poor customer service
etc.....
emm
i think its okay..
if u live in the west.. i can recommend u shop
ya.......i work in the west side.
Today I went to clementi town and saw a singtel and M1 distributor shop as well as a Sony Ericsson shop.
Do such shops sell at a cheaper price compared to the main telco shops in the shopping malls?

Actually it depends on how many AVAILABLE hp your distributor stores has in stock.
Of course the more the better, because it's more likely to be a real distributor than some make-believe ah beng distributor.
If you're not looking for plans, you can try Mustafa or even your friendly neighbour Malaysian State.
I bought a Nokia 5800 from the friendly neighbour Malaysian State. Best phone I've ever had so far because it is a touchscreen phone like Omnia and iPhone....so I will recommend you to buy one for yourself.
If you want an export set, you can try one of those hp shop at Burlington Square.

bro 5800 come out liau ah? why sg no sell and how much u bought it?
ts better not.. there was once i bought at these kuku shop.. end up shop close down i got problem also cannot find them.. somemore mine was proven to be a export set =_=
Don't believe those shops.
Dealing with them is exposing yourself to risk of being cheated.
Buy direct from Nokia or Sony-E shops is another choice, if not going direct to Singtel, M1, or starhub.

No, read carefully that parn said she bought it from malaysia.
Anyway, I want 5800 too... been waiting for it for a very long time. I heard rumor that it will be out around end of feb to early march. Export set no warranty thats why I'm waiting.
You got a lot of money for ppl to cheat meh?
