Upgrading of handset then selling it back

  Hi all,

          my friends have told me that if I sign a 2-year contract with Singtel and I upgrade my mobile phone, I can choose to immediately sell it back to them and they would pay me the difference. Does anyone know if M1 and Starhub practise this too?

  ST does not practise this
  unless it's a trade in, which means u need to buy a new fone then they minus the trade in price of the fone
  u cannot immediately sell them back the fone
  
  u can sell back at ah beng hp shops
