First off, we're a bunch of undergraduate students working on a project. Basically, this is a survey with 20 questions regarding handset usage. It is meant to introduce the concept of a rental service - where people can rent a phone for 2 years and on expiration of this period, either lease it out once more, terminate the service or purchase the phone altogether. The rationale is that people who like to change their handset models frequently can use the latest model without having to shell out a huge sum on it. Such services do exist, but they're highly fragmented and offer rather poor customer service - which is not the case with our mock-service.
Our target audience are students and young working professionals, especially those with an eye for the latest trends in the mobile phone industry. The survey has a few kinks - which will be ironed out soon.
We're extremely obliged to anyone who takes the survey and helps us out. Also, the survey is is completely anonymous. We're looking to gather the largest possible sample we can - and we hope our targets are achieved.
