buying phones overseas

  Hiya guys , i was wondering if theres is any difference between a phone bought at HongKong and one bought in Singapore. Cause my mom is over there now , and she might buy a w880i for me there if its cheaper. So i was wondering , are there any differences. Thanks in advance.

  u cant claim warrenty for phones bought overseas i think..
  
  and HK phones dont seems any much cheaper than here

  and make sure u dun buy any CDMA or GSM 1900 only phones coz it will be a white elephant if u buy it...

  try ur own singapore SIM card, if it roams then it shld be fine.
  
  also, throw away box if possible, if not tio kiap 7% GST when u come back dun cry.

  HK phones are very cheap. Some are water stock with certain parts replaced.
