  anyone knows how to prevent the N80 from switching to GPRS when the Wifi signal is weak?
  
  i heard is switch to offline mode, can anyone verify?

  i have E61 and never encountered such an issue, but u can try set "Default Access Point" to "Always Ask"...

  I use E61i also no such issue, so it must just be your n80.

  me n80ie no such problem leh.
  if no wifi it jus d/c, will not auto switch to GPRS
  (is there even such auto switch feature?)

  cause the sales lady from singtel say got, then hardwarezone people also say will happen

  Most probably yours is set to singtel's config lor, no connection only connect to gprs, hey don;t be surprise, this is how they make money. That's why I try never to get my phones from telcos.

  my n80 didn't have that pblm......anyway not using it now...its my spare phone
