Does mobile phone affect the signals?
Cos i cant seem to recieve SMS inside my house.
I dont know whether its Starhub Problem or my Hp problem.

The phone will switch to the next band, if the other band is weaker or not available, dependent on operator settings. Singapore telcos use mainly gsm 900/1800, and that covers dual band. In the states, they also use 850mhz, that's the triband, in japan, they use wcdma/3G, which is UMTS, that's the quadband.
