Hi all,
My friend told me all NOkia N-seires lags..
i was thinking to buy N80 or N73... now really have to think twice.
any users can advise whether it's true or not? -

U mean slow or the phone lock up?
N series are using Symbian OS..
there is 2nd and 3rd edition..
N70 uses 2nd Edition
N80 uses 3rd Edition.
Seem that 2nd Edition of Symbian OS only can address up to 1GB of external memory. -
N73? using what edition?

sorry, just found out. it's the same like N80. 3rd edition.
my friend bought N80 and quickly changed to samsung as she complained that N80 lags.. ( means that you can feel the wait time when switching screen, keying text etc). -
Sorry, I don't use N-series phones. I cannot comment.

The Symbian OS are indeed slower..
For N80, ppl get it so can take nice photos.. 3Mpix camera with Carl Zeiss Lens..
have Wi-Fi can connect to home PC.
have Bluetooth, and there are alot of GPS navigation software to use with phone. like Route66 and Smart2go etc.. they can only be installed in Symbian OS or PocketPC.
The Voice Recognition is very good, best around I would think. Don't have to put voice tag. push a button and call out your friend's name and it will auto dial.
It all depends on what U looking for.. just normal callings and SMS.. don't need all that above. -

Am i right that N73 doesn't have alarm clock application? (i got this info from a bad review from internet)

Sorry, N73 is the one that has goody lens..
maybe there are new firmware out.. U can check with Nokia service..
complain to them why so F*** slow!
the thing I don't like N80 is it will not play stereo music when it is in Car Kit mode.
Doubt many ppl in SG using Carkit in their cars.
