  Massive gas bubbles rising from the sea floor may be capable of sinking ships and could explain the disappearance of a vessel in a North Sea "Bermuda Triangle", Melbourne researchers have concluded.

  In fact ships have been recovered & identified as missing ones in that area. It is belief that the Heavy and often thunderous storms break up ships and sink bebeath the deep sea. This as explained in one of the documentaries in DC.
