I think quite a number of guys know how to cook, just that the standard varies.
Then again, I would think that whilst the guys may know how to cook, they may find it a hassle since eating out in Singapore is so much easier, less time consuming and cheaper. Hence, unless an occasion warrants the guy to cook something eg potluck gathering, he will likely not want to cook.
